Call for Submissions: Shakti — Indian Artivists Resist Fascism
We believe in the power of art to confront apathy, ignite resistance, and speak truth to power.
As India descends deeper into authoritarianism and communal violence, many of us resist—raising our voices, refusing silence—as friends, neighbors, and family members look away. Shakti is a transnational anthology of resistance through essays, poetry, visual art, and hybrid forms by those who refuse to be silent—especially voices from marginalized communities.
We invite artists, writers, and thinkers who are confronting authoritarianism, state violence, casteism, religious persecution, and queerphobia with courage, beauty, and clarity.
